Led Zeppelin tee - I'm wearing a medium because it runs small
Sole Society sandals c/o (old - try these)
Spicer Bags metallic cork crossbody bag c/o
Moon and Lola mix-and-match charm bar necklace (gifted)
Sole Society metallic cat eye sunglasses (old - almost exact dupes)
Christian Paul "Whitehaven" watch (gifted)

Some weekends you just want to put on some overalls and flats, sip a cocktail and pretend like summer will never be over. I know I talk a lot about how much I can't wait for fall to arrive, but it's days when I get to wear outfits like this, that I appreciate the summer heat so much.

I've debated the overall trend and when I finally decided I wanted to try it, I couldn't find any styles that worked for me! Enter in distressed shorts - duh! Because they're frayed and somewhat loosened, the hems didn't feel tight on my thighs like other overall options have. I also love the straight bib style which alleviates the top heavy bulkiness I had experienced with pockets. Now I feel like I #CantStopWontStop wearing these bad boys. Mine are sold out but I found a fab pair from Nordstrom Rack!

Side note: how freaking cute is my charm bar necklace from Moon and Lola? I put it together while at #TBScon a few weeks ago. I love how each charm (I chose a pendant with my lower case initial, a mini pink tassel, rhinestone ball and my zodiac sign) represents me in a fun small way. It's a perfect way to show off your personality and pick exactly what you want. Holla!

Hope you loves are having a GREAT week! xoxo

J.Crew Factory necklace c/o Carolina Premium Outlets
Christian Paul watch c/o
Moon & Lola Nora bangle and Dalton charm
Kendra Scott Elton bangle c/o
similar Forever 21 pearl bracelet
Maybelline lip stain and OPI "Alpine Snow" nail polish

I thought this all white outfit was beyond perfect for the first day of #TBScon which also happened to be my birthday! I mean what girl doesn't want pretty bows on her feet for her birthday (even if it was my 30th!)

I think one fantastic benefit of adding a LWD (little white dress) to your wardrobe is that you can totally translate it from season to season. During the summer, throw on your cutest pair of sandals and rock a tan (like here, a few seasons ago). But come fall, I reach for a chambray shirt (which can go over OR under like here) a great pair of ankle boots and and scarf. Good news for you? The one I'm wearing is from The Impeccable Pig and is still available

Also I can't get enough of all white errrrythang when it comes to accessories. A great GiGi bag, rose gold watch and a good nail polish are all I need. I think I like crisp and cleanness of the monochromatic palette.

I'm really excited about some of collaborations coming up this fall and hot on the heels of my conference, I'm feeling excited and inspired! Stay tuned for some fun posts coming your way soon!

Guys... I still feel like I'm on a total high from being at The Blog Societies Conference last week. There's just something about being in the same place as your people. You know, the ones who don't mind waiting while you get the perfect shot of that breakfast, or who don't mind taking 1,645 photos for the perfect insta, or who totally understand why you're so torn between Snapchat and Instastories (a HUGE topic of conversation this go round) Literally on a girlcrush/girlboss high.

When I was packing for Charleston, I knew I had to bring my a-game in terms of wardrobe. So naturally I went with my go to shop, The Impeccable Pig. They seriously never let me down, no matter what. I always find exactly what I need (in this case, 3 outfits!) This is what I wore to our first event, the meet-and-greet cocktail party hosted by Vera Bradley. What better place to rock a matching seersucker set than Charleston? Am I right? Side note... I went up a size in the shorts because they are so cute, but I needed some more thigh room to feel comfortable.

Also y'all, don't ever underestimate the power of a half-up top knot. It's like the ultimate cool-girl hairstyle. And by that I literally mean stay-cool-because-it's-freaking-90+-degrees, not hey girl, you're cool. 'cause that I am not.

Stay tuned for more #TBScon recaps and outfits. Until then, check out sneak peeks on my instagram

Better Than Tax Free Weekend with Carolina Premium Outlets

{J.Crew Factory linen stripe top, LOFT scallop shorts (similar) Banana Republic Factory crossbody bag}

Hi Loves! I can’t believe we are already in August! As summer is starting to come to a close, it’s time to start thinking about Back To Fall. I said that because some of us aren’t in school anymore (or have kids who are old enough for Back to School) but with the change in seasons usually comes transition in your wardrobe. Which means it’s time go shopping!

Lucky for you, Carolina Premium Outlets in Smithfield is having their Better Than Tax Free weekend today through Sunday! Which means added bonus savings on top of already amazing discounts. So what better way to prepare for the cooler weather than to score some majorly awesome deals! I’m going to share a few of my favorite fall trends that I scooped up while shopping and that you'll be able to find too! Here we go..

Rose Quartz color of the year fashion trend

This right here is like my dream fall outfit. An easy breezy dress. Denim jacket over top, Ankle boots. I mean - does it get any better than this? I just had to have this combo dress from LOFT. The soft t-shirt like top makes it feel casually comfy, but the pretty skirt makes it feel oh-so-girly and fun! Did I mention the skirt reminds me of Rose Quartz, which is the color of the year for 2016? Holla! You've got to make a stop into LOFT when you visit CPO!

Soft and Sexy Tank American Eagle

I've told you guys this before, but I recently re-discovered American Eagle Jeans as the best fitting jeans ever! Their "short" length is perfect for petite gals like me and I don't know why, but the distressed options are so danm good. They also have this new line of "Soft & Sexy" tanks and tees. Like "budda" in your hands. This adorable peplum option may or may not have made it's way into my dressing room (plus 3 more colors too!) Obsessed!

Gold Yellow Laser Cutout tank

I think that I love tanks for fall because the weather is so up and down you never know which way it's going to go. With a blazer or jacket over top, this one from Banana Republic Factory is appropriate for work with a cute pencil skirt. But loose the jacket and throw on jeans and pumps and you've got an instant weekend look too. You can always reach for the blazer again when the temps start to drop at night. This gold will also go really well with my #BADxGameDay series that is starting back up soon. I can't wait!

oversize watches menswear trend for women

Watches on Watches! I don't think I ever really noticed how fantastic the watches are from Fossil until I visited their store at CPO. They have some ah-mazing styles! You have to head over to CPO's Facebook to see which one I picked (such a good fall color) and with all the Better Than Tax Free savings you'll REALLY save big!

Nine West Mirror Heel Ankle Boots

One motto I tend to live by: A gal can never have too many ankle boots (just don't ask my husband if he feels the same.) When I stopped into Nine West, I thought I fell into ankle boot heaven with all the options they had. These black mirrored heel babies went home with me and I plan on wearing them with everything this fall season. Dresses. Jeans. Shorts and tights. I mean everything. Did I mention they were on MAH-jor sale? Yes, Please!

Nike Marble Print Backpack

Back To Fall is also a great time to buy workout shoes. I don't know why, but I feel like the end of summer season means the deals on sneaks on better. I loved this periwinkle-ish blue color. It's not something I had picked out before, so it was fun to try something new. I've been seeing this marbled print on everything lately, so when I spotted it on Nike apparel and shoes, I knew it was going to be a good Fall Trend. I only wish I was actually going back to school so I could rock this marbled backpack!

Pink Mirror Lens Sunglasses

Mirrored Sunglasses aren't just for the 80's anymore! They are back with a vengeance and won't be leaving anytime soon. Find modern styles like this pair from LOFT to keep you in 2016. I adore the tortoise print and the cat eye shape frames my face nicely. If you follow me on instagram you know I haven't taken these off from the second I scooped them up!

You guys... there are so many more deals where that came from. I haven't even shown you everything I found! So make sure you're following Carolina Premium Outlets over on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to see everything I scored (that Levi's Jacket is the bomb) Then head over to the center (it's like a 25 minute drive from Raleigh!) or your local Simon Shopping Center to save big on Fall Trends!
