What's In My Graphic Image Nylon Tote + A Giveaway For You!!

Boy have I got a Monday surprise for you! :) In the short time this amazing Graphic Image Union Square Nylon Tote has been in my possession, it's quickly taken the place of all my previous carry-alls. I had been on the hunt for forever, looking for a large bag that I could shuttle back and forth for work when this hot pink beauty jumped into my life and solved all my traveling issues! Here's why I love it: it's roomy, is monogrammed (making it a great gift for someone), is nylon which makes cleaning it a breeze and it has several pockets inside and out to store all my little items like chapstick and hair ties so they don't get lost in the bottom, never to be seen again.

First I'm going to show you what's inside my bag and then I'll share how you can win your very own tote filled with fabulous Graphic Image and GiGi New York goodies!!

I know that I'm probably the last person on the planet who doesn't have an ipad/tablet (hoping for that to change this Christmas!) so for now I'm lugging my PC from home to work. Luckily, this tote can totally handle it. Roomy and heavy duty? Check, Check! I've got a serious sweet tooth and those who know me are aware that I am usually never without candy. Sour Patch Kids Extreme are my absolute favorite - I've been known to eat a whole bag in 1 sitting! P.S. aren't my GiGi New York key chains the cutest?

It's hard to believe that we're coming up on the holidays already! I've got major plans for 2014 and this Graphic Image notebook/planner keeps me on point. There's space for me to write down ideas as well as keep track of my appointments and blog posts.
I've said it before and I'll say it again (with pride) I am a lipstick junkie. At any given moment I've got at least 3 or 4 tubes floating around my purse (sometimes, I like to mix colors for a unique and one-of-a-kind lipstick look). Does anyone else have their gift cards on them at all times? I mean you never know when a matinee or shoe shopping trip might strike your fancy!

2 things I try to never leave the apartment without: Dry Shampoo & my Business Cards. You never know when your hair might need a pick-me-up or who your next business contact will be so I keep these items close to me at all times. This Graphic Image Metallic Mini Envelope is the perfect size to hold my business cards and easily access them when I need to. Isn't the personalization super cute?! Since I wear a lot of heels, Dr. Scholl's Rub Relief Tape is my go-to for to making your footwear more comfy. These cushiony strips have saved my blistering feet more than a time or two. No one likes a smelly-smellerson! Luckily, my favorite perfume (SJP's Covet) comes in solid form which is perfect for sprucing up after a long day in the office or running errands.

This GiGi New York Mini Phone Case makes a fabulous substitute for a wallet. It's got a few slots perfect for my ID and credit cards, a hidden pocket for money and is the perfect size to hold my cell phone. I never know when I might have a beauty emergency so mascara, lotion, a Tide Pen and blotting sheets always come in handy.

Now the exciting part for you! The items in this package are just what a fashion forward gal needs to get through her every day schedule. I've been a longtime fan of Graphic Image & GiGi so trust me when I say that they're stuff is beyond fabulous. Here is what this giveaway prize will entail!

Union Square Nylon Tote in your color of choice (can be personalized)
Graphic Image Items:
6" Pocket Datebook in your leather/color of choice (can be personalized)
Leather Wrapped Pen your color of choice
Mini Envelope Card Case in your color of choice (can be personalized)
GiGi New York Items
Mini Phone Case your color of choice (can be personalized)
iPad Mini Case (can be swapped for regular ipad Case) in your color of choice
Tassel Key Chain in your color of choice

When all is said and done, when the personalizations are stamped and the dust has settled... this giveaway package is worth well over $500!!!!!! So enter through the below rafflecopter and I can't WAIT to see what lucky gal or guy gets to scoop this one up!

Outfit Post: Navy & Fuchsia

Graphic Image Union Square Nylon Tote in Pink c/o
GAP Skinny Mini Skimmer in Blue Camo (on sale!) &  Open-Stitch Sweater (sold out)
Sam & Libby for Target "Paxton" Strappy Ankle Booties (on sale!)
Julie Vos Grande Soho Necklace c/o LuckyFABB || J. Crew Pave Link Bracelet || Michael Kors Watch || Stackable Number Rings (super splurge option here) || Black Cat Eye Sunnies via Apricot Lane (similar at River Island)
OPI Russian Navy nail polish || Maybelline "Fuchsia Flash" Vivids lipstick

There's something about a Navy and Fuchsia color combo that I just love. I think it's the juxtaposition between a dark hue that's not black and the bright pop of pink. It feels so refreshing and fun!

What do you guys think of this Graphic Image nylon tote? I'm simply in love with it. I've been on the hunt for an everyday bag to take back and forth from work to home. This bag has been a serious life saver! It fits everything from my laptop to my datebook to my makeup and so much more. Anddddd you probably want to keep an eye out over the next few days... I'll be doing a giveaway of this tote filled to the brim with goodies! :)

I mentioned on Twitter & Facebook that I was lacking a bit of inspiration lately... not sure if I'm still having left over feelings from losing our MeeMa. But you guys perked me right up with your solutions, ideas and suggestions. It's so great to know I'm not the only one who feels a little down every once in a while. Thanks so much for your words of support and encouragement! I love hearing what you have to say :)

Game Day Outfit: FSU Sequin Tee & Oxblood Booties

Victoria's Secret PINK Florida State Sequin Seminole Head Tee (very old)
ASOS Faux Leather Skater Skirt
Sole Society "Helena" Booties c/o || ILY Couture Arrow Ring c/o & Sideways Cross Necklace (splurge option) || JV Hantres "Noles" & "Fear The Spear" Macramé Bracelets (10% off with code BAD10OFF) || Michael Kors "Bradshaw" Watch || J. Crew Classic Medium Bangle in Garnet

We had some beautiful warm temps this weekend so I tried to take advantage of the no-tights weather with this week's BADxGameDay outfit. I took one of my favorite tees (that I usually wear with jeans or cutoffs) and paired it with a flirty skirt and heels. This is something that any gal can do in order to "dress up" that game day outfit. Now, I wouldn't exactly recommend this look for a tailgate but definitely for a night out on the town after you (hopefully) celebrate your team's win.

I'm getting so much wear out of these Sole Society oxblood booties (you guys went cray when I posted them on insta last month). I love that they come in a variety of colors which are perfect for game day or just every day footwear. I know I mentioned it before.. but I'll say it again.. SO COMFY! Yes, really!

By the way - have you ordered any rhinestone bracelets from JV Hantres yet? No?! Well don't forget she's got a variety of schools and colors to pick from. Plus you'll get 10% your order with my special code BAD10OFF. Who doesn't love a little game day bling?! :) Happy Hump Day y'all! xo

Winter Wish List

Zara Tartan Scarf || Gentle Fawn Sequin Sweatpants via LuLu's || Space 46 Boutique Ivory Tulle Midi Skirt || Diba Blossom Pump via DSW || Michael Kors Gold & Black Bradshaw Watch || Old Navy Gingham Plaid Button Up

Although our weather patterns seem to be having difficulty deciphering what time of the year it was (74 yesterday, 53 today) I'm well aware that winter is coming in strong! And I wouldn't exactly call this my Christmas list but more what items I want so that I can create dazzling winter and holiday party outfits.....

Okay ever since I spotted this Zara beauty on Poor Little It Girl, I cannot get it off my mind. It just looks so cozy & comfy that it would go with any outfit. I'm not sure why but I own absolutely nothing plaid so I figured this could be a great start. And speaking of owning nothing plaid... I didn't think I could pull off a gingham shirt - but after seeing this pin on Pinterest - I'm determined to try! This Old Navy option (comes in blue too) is the perfect price to play around in.

I love dressing up for Thankgiving. It's basically the jump start to the holiday party season. However my waistline usually hates me since I have to unbutton my jeans 1/2 way through my 2nd (or 3rd) helping. Enter Sequin Slouchy Pants.. with an elastic waistband... I mean, hello! Genius or what? I also am obsessed with the new black and gold version my favorite Bradshaw watch from Michael Kors. It's so sleek & sexy! Also a gal can never have too many pairs of pointy toe pumps - how about this studded option at a fabulous steal of a price!

Okay, now I've been hinting at wanting a tulle skirt for about 100 years now.. but thankfully Space 46 Boutique is coming out with a midi version that will be available to ship around December 7th. Which means it will be here just in time for Christmas!!!! I can't even begin to tell you how ecstatically happy this makes me. I plan to never take it off. I might even sleep in it (sorry Bill)

What about you? What are you currently craving for your wish list? Any of these items on your holiday gift list? Shop these picks and more options below! Happy Tuesday!

Saying Goodbye

I apologize for my absence on the blog the past few days.. We said goodbye to a wonderful woman last week and even though we were expecting to, it still didn't hurt any less when we did.

Thankfully our family rallied around each other and we had a true celebration of the 98 years that God gave us our MeeMa. This independent, bold and incredibly smart woman taught our family more than we will ever truly know. She was more than influential on my mother and later on myself. I hope that I can someday be 1/10th of the woman she was! We love you MeeMa!!

Video: Disney's Maleficent Trailer

image via screenshot of movie
That's right! In case you already didn't know, Disney has been filming a movie based on one of my all time favorite Princess villians - Maleficent. And based on the recent release of the trailer for the 2014 movie it's going to be AMAZEBALLS. Don't believe - check it out for yourself....

I mean I seriously don't think you could have cast anyone better than Angelina Jolie as the wickedly stunning sorceress who curses Princess Aurora (aka Sleeping Beauty) after being left out of her birth celebration. And looks like Elle Fanning is as "Doe-Eyed" as ever. I'm just excited to see Flora, Fauna & Merryweather. As one of my favorite (and slightly under rated) princess movies, this live-action version looks to be a winner! What do you guys think?

Outfit Post: Boyfriend Casual

Express Boyfriend Denim (old but new version)
C&C California Draped Top (olddddd but almost identical)
Steve Madden "Hunnie" Sandal (splurge)
GiGi New York Elle Cross Body Bag in Burgundy c/o || Sole Society Outback Wide Brim Hat c/o || Forever 21 BAD two finger ring || Cat Banjo Three Drops Necklace || Revlon "Fire & Ice" Lipstick

Okay.. I know you're probably thinking all I wear is boyfriend jeans. And you're about half right. I know I should be focusing on fitness right now.. but there is just something about this time of year that makes me want to curl up with two okay three bowls of chili. This denim just lets me and my stomach breathe a little easier.

I don't know about where you are, but winter is coming in fast. It seems like Mother Nature just skipped right over fall and we're already into frigid temperatures. I'm going to the Justin Timberlake concert tomorrow (eeeeeek!) and I'm so happy it's inside because the low is 23!!! I'd rather not be bundled up like Randy from A Christmas Story thank-you-very-much. Not exactly bringing sexy back if you know what I'm sayin'..

Happy Tuesday y'all!

Game Day Outfit: OCJ Apparel Branded FSU Jeans

OCJ Apparel Florida State Seminoles Skinny Jean in Garnet c/o
JV Hantres "Noles" & "Fear The Spear" Macramé Bracelets c/o (get 10% any order over $20.00 with code BAD10OFF - she has other schools/teams too!)
Adrienne Vittadini Gold Sequin Sweater via HauteLook
Sole Society "Heather" Ankle Bootie (old) ||  || J. Crew Classic Bangle in Garnet || Clutch via DSW || Laura Mercier Lipstick in "Sienna"

I love a good pair of jeans.. especially worn with booties and a sweater. It's practically my uniform these days. So when OCJ Apparel wanted to participate in my BADxGameDay series I was thrilled! How brilliant is the concept of a logo branded jean? Especially when the temperatures start to drop and wearing cute dresses and skirts aren't as much of an option anymore. OCJ (which stands for Original College Jeans) came up the idea to branded denim with either the school's name, symbol or mascot. They come in a variety of cuts like skinny leg or boot cut and there are a ton schools to choose from such as UNCKentucky, South Carolina or even... Florida Gators. You can decide between classic washes or your team's colors. They even have shorts!! I think I want to get the Indigo FSU branded ones next. So hop on over to their website and tell me what pair you're going to get!

I paired my fabulous garnet skinny pair with a gold sequin sweater, some brown booties and tons of bracelets (naturally). I was comfy, showing school spirit and still able to jump up and high five when we scored all those points against Miami (Sorry 'canes fans!) I am trying to get Bill to take me to the WFU game tomorrow so I can sport this fabulous pair of denim there!

We attended an alumni viewing party and everyone was going crazy over these amazing homemade bracelets I discovered on Etsy a couple months ago:

JV Hantres has the cutest GameDay jewelry and I am smitten with the rhinestone FSU arrows and "Noles" charms. She has other teams/color available and you're going to flip when you find out the price - SO affordable!! Plus she's been so generous and is offering BAD readers 10% off! Just use the code BAD10OFF during checkout to apply it on orders over $20.

Happy Friday everyone! And don't forget to share your GameDay looks with me! xo

Outfit Post: Mixing Camouflage and Stripes

I can't get enough of mixed prints lately. Leopard with Polka Dots, Florals with Ikat, Camo & Stripes.. what once was considered taboo is now totally in. And even though this isn't the most bold mixing I've ever done, I still love the ease and chicness of the combination.

GAP Camouflage Printed Utility Jacket (get 30% off using code GAPFRIENDS)
Banana Republic Metallic Striped Sweater (last season - love this version)
Express "Stella" Skinny Jegging (old)
ShoeDazzle "Lisa" Rose Gold Metallic Wedge Pump (sold out - splurge option)
GiGi New York Saddle Uber Clutch in Pebble Grain c/o || ILY Couture "Sweet Candy Color" Neon Necklace || Nordstrom BP "Flash" Pink Mirror Aviators (splurge option) || Zoya Matte Grey Nail Polish || Maybelline "Fuschia Fever" Lipstick

This past weekend was an exciting one but it was Sunday morning that I was actually looking forward to the most. Emily, the gorgeous blogger from Life with Emily hosted a bloggers brunch at my favorite restaurant Coquette Brassiere and I finally had the opportunity to meet some local NC bloggers!

In our world, heck in any world, it's beyond important to stay connected with actual face-to-face time! Sometimes it's easy to get behind our twitter feeds and facebook pages that we forget to form real-life, in-the-flesh relationships. I was so happy to meet some lovely ladies who I've been fans of and finally putting a 3-D face to the name.. and.. photos!

After getting over the initial nerves and introductions (the bottomless mimosas helped a bit with that) we instantly bonded, sharing our hilarious tales of shooting outfit pictures and how nowadays we meet so many friends online! It was so refreshing to meet some new gals who share the same passions as myself. And, okay... I guess we had to be cliché and take a typical bloggers-with-their handbags group picture:

Kathryn || Kristyn || Morgan || Emily || Bre || Ryan
A BIG thanks again to Em for putting this whole she-bang together!
