Monday Inspiration: #GetItGirl

I'm pretty sure that if I were single or lived with a bunch of girlfriends, this mantra would be displayed all over my entire house. From prints to pillow cases to tees and beyond, this saying really just speaks to me. I seriously love it! And since I've got some MAHJ stuff happening in my life right now.. it's also appropriate for getting my butt in gear and making &$@! happen! So let's take in a little Monday Inspiration and then conquer the universe together, shall we?!

We already know how I feel about graphic tees. This Shop Dandy one needs to get in my life STAT!

Pencils on your desk with this motivational mantra? Ummm.. talk about a productive work day.

I'd stamp the hell out of errrrrrrythang with this piece of cuteness. For reeeeeeelz.

Why hello there - wouldn't you be a lovely sight to see every time I walk inside my apartment (especially when I need a blogging push after a long day of work!)

Selfies are instantly encouraged to step up their game with the simple mirror image of this iphone cover (more colors are available!)

Hope you're officially motivated to kick Monday in the booty!! xo

Oufit Post: Panama Hat + Oxblood Booties

Missoni for Target Chevron Print Blouse (old - extremely similar at Ann Taylor
Express "Zelda" Jean legging (updated style)
Vintage Bag || Blu Bijou Pearl Bangles c/o Max & Chloe || Julie Vos Grande Soho Gold Chain Necklace c/o LuckyFABB || Maybelline "Fuchsia Flash" Hot Pink Lipstick

I'm a lucky lady - so far I've checked off 3 items from the Fall Wish List I shared with you guys last month. Thanks to Sole Society, my lust and search for the perfect black hat finally came to end when I got my hands on this one. I literally haven't stopped wearing it since the UPS guy delivered it last week (ideas on how to wear fall/winter hats here) I mean... it's perfection, right? You have to get one - it will not disappoint you. Also, would you believe me if I told you these booties are actually super comfy? Yeah.. I wouldn't believe me either. Except I walked around North Hills in them and trust me when I say they truly are. They added just the pop of fall color this black & white ensemble needed and I have some fabulous Game Day posts planned around them (stay tuned for that!)

I also wanted to share with you the best hot pink lipstick I've come across in a while. Now, you guys know I'm a Revlon girl at heart. But when I spotted the lipstick in this instagram picture, I knew I just had to discover the color. I was betting the farm that it'd be MAC's Candy Yum Yum so imagine my surprise when it turned out to be an under 6 bucks color. Instantly sold - instantly satisfied.

Hope you guys have a great Friday & a wonderful weekend. And don't forget my Phillip Lim for Target mini crossbody giveaway is ending TOMORROW NIGHT! So if you haven't entered yet.. there's still time! You know you wanna win it! :)

P.S. my Crop To It outfit post was featured on Amy's & Amber's blogs today! So exciting! Thanks gals!

Runway to Realway: Rose Gold Metallics

Although this trend has been brewing for a while, the Spring/Summer 2014 runways were a full blown explosion of Rose Gold Metallic details. This gorgeous sister of Yellow Gold was sprinkled and sparkling on everything from structured minis to sheer trousers. The shiny hue is a bit softer and slightly more feminine than a harder gold making it's rise to popularity quick and fast. Even the makeup artists and hairstylists at Jason Wu were hopping on board. How fabulous is that pink gold cuff on her sleek ponytail?

I've been wearing this trend for a while (ummm yeah I'm kind of obsessed) but be prepared to see it in every store, on everything and everywhere over the next couple of months. And if you don't want to wait until Spring, here are some of my favorite items and fabulous budget finds to get you started on your new love for rose gold now:

How have you been sporting your rose gold? I hope every way possible!

Outfit Post: Welcoming Fall {With A GiGi New York Promo Code}

C. Luce Suede Colorblock Maxi Dress - borrowed & now available at Apricot Lane North Hills
GiGi New York Saddle Uber Clutch in Pebble c/o {15% off when you use promo code BAD}
Julie Vos Grande Soho Gold Necklace c/o LuckyFABB || H&M Leopard Belt (old - similar at Target) || Sole Society Platform Sandal (old) || J. Crew Classic Pave Link Bracelet (budget factory version here) || Caravelle by Bulova Rose Gold Watch || Revlon "Fire & Ice" Red Lipstick

Yesterday marked the first day of Autumn and I could not be more excited!!! (I mean let's get real.. I've only been talking about this day since July!) Since we've finally hit that time of year, I thought what better way to ring in the season of changing leaves than with this suede maxi dress & a promo code to GiGi New York?!

First can we discuss the dress? It's the perfect maxi for Fall! The colors, the material, the fit. I love it all. It practically looks like a changing leaf itself. Call or head over to Apricot Lane in North Hills to nab it. I added tons of gold accessories and decided to change out the belt for this leopard one - giving it a little bit of BAD flair. I feel like Red Lipstick was made for fall, wouldn't you agree? To me, this whole outfit just screams "Autumn is Here!"

I told you a few weeks ago that you'd be seeing a lot of this bag. And I have to make do on my promise. {Though I admit, it's not that difficult} Every time I take this guy somewhere - someone is always asking me about it. I think it's because it has such a unique texture for a handbag that's not over sized. I love that it holds just about everything that a large leather bag would, but I can wear it with my fancier outfits since it is a clutch. And right now, the lovely GiGi folks are offering BAD readers a special coupon code of 15% off whenever you use the code.. well.. BAD. P.S. here's the smaller version of this clutch

So what are you most excited about wearing for fall? Happy Monday! (p.s. have you entered this giveaway?)

This is my updated version of the "Jeans & Tank" game day outfit. I wore it last weekend to cheer on the Seminoles while Bill and I drank beer and watched football at the bar across the street from our apartment. I love that it's still comfy and supporting my team, but my black jeans and ankle booties up the ante just a smidge to take it from college student to stylish alum.

Don't forget that I would love to feature you on BAD next week for your stylish Game Day looks! All you have to do is email me a photo of you rocking your Game Day Outfit whether it's football, baseball, basketball - anything that tickles your fancy. I just want to show how stylish we sports lovers can be. I've already received several submissions but the more the merrier!!

I've got a few more #BADxGameDay collaborations lined up for the rest of the year and I'm REALLY excited about them! Stay tuned! Happy Friday and Go Noles!!

Outfit Post: Crop To It!

Target Black Crop Top Tank (very recent!)
Behnaz Sarafpour for Target Silver Brocade Circle Skirt (old - similar here)
Zara Heels (old)
Love Culture Transparent Rose Gold Clutch || Michael Kors "Bradshaw" Rose Gold Watch || J. Crew Pave Link Bracelet (look for less version here) || Nordstrom BP Metallic Aviators in Pink || Ever So Lovely Stardust Studs (gifted)

I've been talking about crop tops for weeks.. no scratch that. Months. And for some reason I just didn't think I could get away with it. Then I saw Jess at My Style Vita rock the heck out of her crop top- high waisted skirt combo. Seeing how fab she looked made me stop being a baby and put my money where my [blogging] mouth is.

Here's why the outfit works: My crop top is a full top - mock turtleneck if you will. There's no low-cut V neck or open back. It's just a simple muscle tee with the bottom half cut off. My skirt is high waisted. There's no belly button showing and it's no where near a low rise (it also helps that the length isn't too short) When bringing this 90's crop top trend up-to-date, you want to show the right amount of skin instead of just showing skin. This way you look stylish and modern!

Also do you guys see my newest clutch addition? I am so in freaking love with this transparent clutch it's not even funny. I just had to make sure I carefully selected what actually went in it (apparently I like to have minty fresh breath!)

Before dinner, Bill & I hit up Chelsea's Style Sessions event at J. Crew. I SO wish this gal hadn't moved to Charlotte practically as soon as we moved to Raleigh! She's beyond fabulous. And stylish! I have serious wardrobe envy. But at least we're not super far away so maybe I can still borrow stuff from time-to-time ;)

Me & Chels

Happy Tuesday everyone! Don't forget to stay tuned for a super awesome giveaway this week!!!

Outfit Post: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Mini Pashli = #Limsanity

3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Mini Pashli Crossbody Satchel (sold out)
YOOX Graphic Tee (last seen here) c/o LuckyFABB
TopShop Leather Panel Leggings (maternity version here)
Express Tuxedo Blazer (old - obsessed with this Victoria's Secret option)
Yosi Samra Erica Neon T-Strap Studded Ballet Flat c/o LuckyFABB
Black Cat Eye Sunglasses from Apricot Lane || Revlon "Fire & Ice" Lipstick || Caravelle by Bulova Rose Gold Watch c/o LuckyFABB

Whew - yesterday was a doozy. My twitter feed/instagram practically blew up with #Limsanity (oh yes, it has it's own hashtag) and sounds like you girls were out for blood bags. So you bet your target-loving-booty I wasn't about to miss out on that!! After previewing all the pieces online, I decided I couldn't live without the mini Pashli look-a-likes and the Printed "Boom" Sweatshirt. Turns out the mini bags are FAB. I got the black & the grey - but I am kind of kicking myself that I didn't get the mustard yellow (hello! So perfect for my BADxGameDay series)

You can still buy quite a few of the items online, but if you're looking for a handbag, you're probably out of luck... HOWEVER I'd stay tuned to the blog.. I may or may not be giving one away to a very lucky BAD reader!! Check back later this week if you might be interested in that...

Wore this ensemble last night for our Breaking Bad date with my BFF and her husband. I love that my graphic tee and leggings are casual but the tuxedo blazer and pop of color from my fav neon flats give my outfit a polish finished. Who says you can't be comfy and chic? Happy Monday lovelies!
