A few weeks ago, Hearts asked me to be part of February's Blogger Style Guide and I was beyond thrilled to work with them. If you haven't heard of Hearts - be prepared to be obsessed! Their products are absolutely incredible. Each piece is made to be eco-friendly, fair trade and an authentic representation of designs from different cultures. The Beat Foldover Clutch is Guatemalan inspired, using traditional beading and handmade stitching techniques (read below for a more in depth explanation) And you guys... I'm in love with it!
Obviously, this is the perfect nighttime bag, but I wanted to challenge myself and use it more casually. I paired it with a chunky knit sweater and my favorite studded booties for a daytime look. Because I got so many compliments on it, I'm totally re-thinking daytime clutches! It's definitely large enough to hold all my stuff so it kind of makes it a no-brainer. Plus right now you can get 30% off your order when you enter the code BEDAZZLE30 at checkout.
So check out their stuff and let me know what you think! I want to hear if you guys order anything and how much you like love it!
More about the Beat Foldover Clutch:
- Hearts visited Guatemala to meet with artisan communities and to experience Guatemalan culture first-hand. They observed ancient weaving traditions that have been carried forward by contemporary masters and listened to artisans who now produce Hearts designs, talk about their lives. Hearts’ partnership with Guatemalan artisans enables them to devote their extraordinary traditional skills to the creation of design-driven product lines, whose sale ensures they continue to improve their families’ qualities of life.
- This clutch was made with traditional Guatemalan brocade foot looming techniques, AZO free dye, glass seed beads, and antique brass.

Ooooh, I love the clutch with the chevron pattern, and what great karma to know that it was born from a collaboration between artisans and people who obviously care about preserving culture, and promoting women and craft.
