Game Day Wear: Garnet Tights

Dress: c/o Twelve Saturdays
Tights: Target
Riding Boots: Etienne Aigner via DSW
Arrow Hair Clip: c/o TeamTime

Colored Tights are one of my favorite accessories for fall/winter. It's such an inexpensive way to add a pop of fun to any look - I usually buy mine from Target or Kohl's and they last me several seasons.

But, I don't know why I didn't think of colored tights for a Game Day Outfit! What an easy peasy way to dress in your team's colors! Just imagine how fab you'd look in a gray dress and blue tights if you're colors are Blue & White. Or a black skirt & top with red tights? Super cutesy right?! Plus it's universally flattering for anyone!

Since mustard & oxblood Garnet & Gold are one of the hottest pairings right now, it was only fitting for an FSU Game Day. This dress from Twelve Saturdays has been in heavy rotation in my wardrobe right now - and not just because it's gold ;) I love the ruffle detail, the length and the longer sleeves. I'm realizing that I need more dresses with long sleeves! They're a fab transition piece for in between temps.

Have you tried colored tights before? What did you you think.. do you love or not so much?? If you're not 100% comfortable with colored tights yet.. try wearing them with boots, like above, to ease your way into them. Happy Wednesday lovelies!

  4. Pretty smart to wear your team colors like this.... now I need purple tights (for LSU)! Love that corss necklace. My necklace is too heavy or something, it rolls, doesnt stay in place. Im looking for a different one now.

  11. I love this outfit! The colors are SO pretty together! Tell me, what do you do about the dress sticking to the tights? Any secrets? I always have that problem... when I walk the dress creeps up in the middle between my legs :o(

  14. I love how all the colours in the outfit are so Autumnal. I actually got some burgundy tights free with a magazine last week so will now look at pairing them with something other than black! Thanks Nikki!

  17. I love long sleeve dresses too! They are great when my summer tan starts to fade and I don't like baring my pale arms. Haha, you look great!!
