Yay - Bloggers Do It Better is finally back! I love these challenges for 2 reasons: 1) it pushes you to search for a new outfit combo & 2) I love seeing what other style bloggers come up with! This week's challenge: Mint & Coral.
I've been wearing this Zara hi-low mint skirt over and over and over again (My hubby & co-workers must be sick of it!) But I had yet to pair it with a bright color like coral. Enter my favorite sequin sweater (well one of them at least) I thought I would "summer" it up with some cognac heeled sandals and a topknot. What do you think?
Snapped these on our way to pick up take out off Montana Street. Never underestimate those pieces that you've had in our wardrobe forever. A flirty skirt, soft tank and basic sandals are a great recipe for an easy outfit. Throw them on with some red lips and you're good to go!
P.S. ---> New camera was used for these shots! So excited to learn how to use this bad boy ;)
{Skirt: Zara; Fedora: Express; Top & Belt: Forever 21}
{Tee: GAP; Skirt: Forever 21; Sandals: Target}
{Shirt & Flats: Target; Salmon colored Denim: Old Navy}
I'm not always able to capture every outfit via a photo shoot, so I take a lot of self portrait shots and post them on Instagram. Follow me @ NRich14 for more outfit details!
Sometimes I just get the urge to mix fancy with casual. I adore the pairing of this sequined skirt with a neon oversized sweater. Have your tried dressing down any of your favorite night time pieces? Do telll...! Happy Friday!

A few weeks ago, I got asked to participate in a piece that a writer was covering for Societe Perrier on "4th of July" fashion. The article isn't out yet, but I wanted to share a few of the outfits not chosen for the feature.
This was my version of celebrating Independence Day "dressed up". Dressing for the 4th doesn't have to be super fancy or going overboard with details. You'll most likely be eating hot dogs, running around with sparklers and just casually enjoying yourself. {At least that's how I usually like to spend my 4ths} If you're doing something a bit nicer, stick to a simple color palette and easy silhouettes.
**in other news I finally got a DSLR camera! Hoping to test it out this weekend!**
I'm in total adoration of Chloë Moretz. She manages to keep her style age appropriate with the perfect combination of sophistication and playfulness.
Chloë showed up as the guest of honor for the Max Mara "Face of the Future" event looking fresh and fabulous. Her bright teal dress by the label fits her to a T - notice the panel details? I also can't help but swoon over the pop of neon from her nude pumps - so fun! Perfect hair, easy makeup, minimal accessories top off her look. What do you guys think? Do you like?
By now, almost everyone is familiar with TOMS and their "One for One"™ program. But just in case you don't, it's a fabulous system that approaches "giving back" in a fresh new way. For every pair of shoes that one person buys, TOMS donates a pair of shoes to someone in need.
Continuing to grow their brand, TOMS has traveled further down the path of provision with a new endeavor: Sight. They recently launched an eyewear collection and this One-For-One™ is pretty special too! For ever pair of eyeglasses purchased, someone will receive the eye care that he or she needs. This can mean a variety of things from an eye exam, to actual glasses or even surgery.
This summer, TOMS introduced Summer Of Sight. A program set to help restore sight to 100,000 people before the end of the summer. That's a huge number to hit, but guess what? They're already halfway there. At this very moment they've helped 53,066. Let's help them hit that 6 digit target! Start your shopping here. There's a variety of colors, shapes and styles at different price points so I'm sure you'll find exactly what you're looking for. Check out the below video for more info:
Though we may take for granted the ease of protecting our tootsies or eyes, this gift can make a mega-impact on these groups. Especially children, who can begin breaking the cycle of sickness, poverty, and lack of education. Yes, that is the difference one pair {of either} can make. So what are you waiting for? Get shopping!
I'm feeling a bit more giddy than normal so I thought I would post some fun inspirational pictures I found on pinterest. Hope you guys have an amazing weekend!!

Today, Billy and I are celebrating our 4th anniversary. Not exactly a "milestone" in terms of 5,10,15 etc.... but it's been an extremely exciting year for us. We've accomplished a lot of goals we set out to meet when when said "I Do" I couldn't more proud of where we're at right now.
Marriage is never easy and we've certainly learned a lot about each other and ourselves over the past 6 years together. But knowing that I get share my ups and downs with him is a comfort and joy that I can't explain.
Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of our photos digitally, so I thought I would share one of our videos with you readers. Our videographer was so amazing and clever, creating "Trailers" and "Music Videos" with scenes from our big day. Here's one that's so cute!
I am so in love with these new Sole Society wedges - been wearing them non-stop! The print is so fun and vibrant. {P.S. she comes in 2 other colors!} So fair, I've paired them with mostly dresses and skirts, but I might try them with some cropped pants that still shows off the ties.
One of my favorite styling tips is to layer a tank, top or sweater over a dress. It creates an instant outfit boost turning any frock into a "skirt". For those days when I feel like I have nothing to wear, I will try this trick and boom! I've got a new look! Tell me.. what do you guys think? Are you loving the printed shoes trend?
Happy Monday!! I can't believe it's almost halfway through June... my how the time flies! What did you guys do this weekend? I hope whatever it was, you enjoyed it! Ours was a bit quiet but none the less fun! Here's a few snapshots...
Thursday Billy and I had lunch together - a rare occasion. And even though we've cut waaaay back on fast food, we splurged and went to one of our favorite places - Chic-Fil-A! Sooo yummy.
Office birthdays are the perfect excuse for Yummy Cupcakes. They're seriously the best ones you will ever taste...
Saturday we spent the evening with our friend Andrew whose a major Kings fan. I hope they finally close it out tonight!
Sunday afternoon was gorgeous and we couldn't pass up a beach opportunity.
We spent Sunday night at our friend's house eating takeout and drinking wine in their courtyard. At their house, whoever has something major happening in their lives (whether it's exciting news, a great day or in need of a little encouragement and a smile) gets the "Red Plate" for dinner. I got the Red Plate! I'll let you guys decide which reason it was.... :)
