2012 Goals

Happy New Year Lovelies! Hopefully you had a wonderful NYE filled with lots of glitter and sparkle. We kept ours relatively low key, filled with great food, good friends and lots of bubbly [naturally] Although the typical way to celebrate a clean slate involves making resolutions, I'm not really a fan. I find these "promises" just set everyone up for disappointment or failure. So instead I create goals for myself. I like to think of it as giving myself something to work towards rather than a necessity. And in honor of 2012 I thought I would share a few of my new goals with you...

1. Continue my workout and diet regime: I know... I know - so cliche! But I've truly found an amazing program that has tailored my body exactly the way I want it. However the holidays have slightly steered my off the path.... So it's time to get back on track!

2. Start organizing my home room by room: It's crazy how organized I am at work. Everything on my desk has a place and I keep it super clean. However my home, is a different story. I'm not sure if it's my rebellious nature against my husband's crazy clutter free obsession, but my stuff is everywhere. I really want to grab hold of my scattered nature - I know Bill will appreciate it

3. Take more outfit photos: Sometimes I think it's a bit ridiculous the amount of outfits I waste by not taking pictures... I think I am a bit intimidated by other blogger's outfit posts. They always seem to have the perfect backgrounds, hair, style etc... But whenever I post a new look you guys are so supportive! So I hope I can become much more comfortable with it because I'd really like to expand that section of my blog.

4. Give More: Whether it's time, money, or energy I see so many of my friends and family volunteering. I'd really love to focus a little less on myself and a little more on others this year. And it'd be super fun to find something the hubby and I can do together

What are a few of your goals for 2012? Feel free to share them - I'd love to hear all about it. Happy Tuesday and a very happy New Year! xoxo

  1. Great and very worthy goals! I would love to start volunteering for an animal rescue group, I'm sure they'd love to have a vet and his wife join too... :) If you want I'll keep you posted on what I find out!
